Canan Tütüncü works at Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) as a Manager in Engineering and Advisory Services. After completion of her undergraduate study at İzmir Institute of Technology in Chemical Engineering, she moved her hometown for her career and started to work at Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayi A.Ş. in the textile sector for 8 years. First 6 years, she accomplished many different projects specialized in project management, process engineering and product development. She worked as Sustainability Manager at Aksa and this brings her another point of view about the new ways of doing business. After working as a Sustainability Manager for 2 years, she decided to share her knowledge with more people from business world who are at the beginning of their sustainability journey and doing business as usual.

She believes that financing is the key element while transforming world to a better place with sustainable investments. She has joined TSKB now and she advance her knowledge about environmental, social and governance related topics while considering requirements of the world leaders in investment banking sector like EBRD, IBRD, World Bank in every credit appraisal. Besides, she has several roles in reporting and accounting sustainability performance of TSKB.
